AWS (Approved Workshop Scheme) were lucky enough to be one of the many attendees at this event. Events such as these offer a great opportunity to network with various businesses and organisations from both within the UK leisure industry and from other automotive areas about the importance of tyre safety across the board.
Maintaining tyres of on your touring caravan is just as important as it is on your car. As part of an annual habitation service, the service technician will check the age and condition of the tyres. It is current industry recommendation that you have your touring caravan tyres changed every seven years. This is in line with the British Tyre Manufacturers Association (BTMA) guidelines.
